Landscapes

Students get to reflect on the importance of land within their own lives. By utilizing culturally responsive pedagogy, students get the opportunity to think back to a space that is important to their identity and who they are and create a piece that utilizes background, midground, and foreground. Using acrylic paint, students use this theme to guide their canvas paintings.
